WRC 2022 will take place in Espoo, Finland

Ringette Finland has selected the City of Espoo to host the next World Ringette Championships 31.10.-6.11.2022. The President of Finland, Sauli Niinistö, will act as a patron of the event.

The tournament will be played in two venues, Espoo Tapiola Arena and Metro Arena, which are located right next to each other.

”It’s great to host the event after such a difficult covid pandemic. Our target is to create the biggest event in Ringette Finland’s history” – says Markku Koli, President of Ringette Finland.

There will be several side events during the WRC tournament week. An international junior tournament will be hosted by local ringette club Kiekko-Espoo. Also free ”come try ringette”-events will be arranged for schools as well as for the general public.

Ringette Finland and City of Espoo welcome all the athletes, team staff as well as ringette fans to Finland next year.
